Create top-notch design with Canva!
When you spend your valuable time creating things, you want them to end up looking professional and nice. This may be challenging for regular mortals, but luckily there is help to get. Canva is my favourite digital service when it comes to creating great-looking graphics in no time. You may choose from several ready-made templates and change the details so that they look perfect for whatever project that you want to create.
Create professional designs in a heartbeat
I got a tip about Canva a few years ago and it is the best tool that I have ever tried for graphic design. Canva offers several different templates for different types of graphics, such as infographics, instructions, timelines and Instagram posts. The templates that aren’t free have a small dollar sign in the bottom corner, those that do not have it are free to use as much as you want.
Start by visiting https://www.canva.com/ and sign in with your regular Google Account. Flipp through all the templates to get ideas and inspiration. When you find the perfect template for the project you had in mind, click on it and select “customize”. Most templates can be customized in detail as much as you like. Usually, you can change the background image and choose an image you have stored on the computer or take down a nice image from Pixabay, for example. It’s also quite simple to find seasonal images from Pixabay to create Christmas cards or a Halloween theme.
When you feel happy with the design you made, you download it by clicking on “download” in the upper right corner. The images you download have the format .jpg and can be used everywhere, such as in a document, on social media or in a presentation.
Personally, I love to make nice Canva-designs and use them in Google Keep to keep track of all the notes and to-do lists. When I make creations for Google Keep I always choose the template that is called “Instagram post” since those templates always have a square shape, which looks beautiful in Google Keep.
